Recurring Expenses
You can have CRIO record your recurring expenses automatically, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, such as your boarding expenses or any other recurring costs your horses incur. You can create recurring charges not associated with a horse for monthly utilities or payroll.
If you prefer not to use the DIETS module for any reason, you could use the recurring expenses to record each horse's monthly diet cost.
Recurring Expenses vs Recurring Charges
Recurring expenses create cost records for your horses, and you can see them in the expense charts or in the Income and Expense section. It creates expenses by selecting from the accounting categories.
Recurring Charges, on the other hand, are related to the Invoicing process, as they create billable services for the horses' owners. It creates charges using the billable services you have defined.
If you have external horses, you could use both: recording your expenses using the recurring expenses feature (for example what you actually pay for the horse diet) and recording what you want to charge the horse's owner using the recurring charges feature (for example a boarding fee that includes the feed).
