VET - Treatments

Recording treatment applications:

When recording the application of the prescribed treatment, you use the Health Record feature and you select the "Treatment" or "Reproduction Treatment" type.  When you select "Reproduction Treatment", these records appear on the Breeding Summary of the mare, as well as in the Health Records section.

You enter the products used and its quantity... the cost and if you need to bill the horse owner.

Treatment prescriptions   [Enterprise plan]

On the Veterinary tab on a horse, you can create treatment prescriptions. 

On a treatment, you set a name for it, and you enter number of applications, time and the products you want to apply.
The system will create a schedule of all the applications that are shown on the main calendar, where, if clicked it directs you to the Health Record screen with the date and products prefilled.

You can create treatments that automatically create health records for the daily applications, without your intervention... and you can also create treatments that have no product associated, just with indications for therapies or similar.

A Prescribed treatment can be exported to PDF and printed so that the person who actually applies the treatment knows what to do.

Lay up:

Depending on the severity of the treatment or injury,  you may want to set a Lay Up level. This lay up status is displayed on the horse profile.

This can be done from the Treatment page, when creating them, setting the severity, up to date and some training care notes:
